Buffini & Company No. 1 Fittest Company in San Diego
May 2019: Buffini & Company took the title as the fittest company in San Diego during the 2019 Fit Company Challenge. Companies from San Diego County participated in three courses that tested strength and agility. This is the third year the real estate training and coaching company competed in the challenge, and the first year they won the overall challenge.
Buffini & Company’s “BuffCo” team squared off against seven other locally-based companies for the top ranking. Participating companies were divided into smaller teams, with each team earning points for their company. Buffini & Company teams secured the top two spots, placing first and second overall. For months prior, challenge participants attended training sessions to prepare for the event. Bonnie Nuciforo, accounts payable specialist, and Coach Will Tyler, business coach, led “BuffCo” in these trainings.
Health and wellness is a top priority at Buffini & Company. Employees are invited to participate in the Wellness Program, which offers discounted health care rates to those who complete monthly wellness activities, like increasing water consumption or running a certain number of miles during the month. Bulletin boards are updated quarterly with healthy recipes, exercise ideas and highlights of servant leaders’ physical accomplishments. The Fit Company Challenge was included as part of the overall commitment to wellness.
